On Tuesday and Wednesday temperatures will drop to sub-zero in most parts of the country. While on the night to Wednesday it'll be around -4..-9C and up to -12 in parts of Vidzeme and Latgale.
While on Thursday an Atlantic weather system will reach Latvia, bringing temperatures of up to +3..+9C.
It'll be just as warm on the night to Friday while on Friday afternoon temperatures will start to drop with a freeze returning for the weekend.
The snow is expected to melt completely across Latvia on Thursday and Friday. Strong winds are expected on these days too.
