Chilly days ahead in Latvia

Take note – story published 3 years ago

During the coming nights, air temperatures in Latvia will continue to fall below zero, and the days will also be fairly cold, according to LSM's weatherman Toms Bricis.

A variable amount of cloud is expected between Tuesday and Thursday, the sun will frequently shine, but rainfall, snow and hail are also expected, and there may also be a thunderstorm with strong wind gusts thrown into the mix. Roads may be slippery so caution is advised.

Air temperature at night will fall to 0 to -5 degrees Celsius, and will remain slightly above zero in coastal areas. The maximum air temperature in the afternoons will be +4 C to +9 C.

The air is likely to get a little warmer over the weekend. There is a high probability that snow might return even in mid-April.
