Clocks go back on October 25

We have some good news at last: you'll get an extra hour in bed tonight.

The clocks go back by one hour at 04:00 on October 25 as Latvia transitions from summer time to winter time.

Debates continue at national and European level about whether the bi-annual manipulation of clock hands is really necessary but for now it continues.
