Clocks go forward March 28

Take note – story published 3 years ago

The bad news: you'll get one hour less sleep tonight. The good news: when you do wake up it will be officially 'summer time'.

On March 28, at 2:00 AM, Latvia will transition from winter to summer time by advancing clocks one hour forward.

Debates continue at national and European level about whether the bi-annual manipulation of clock hands is really necessary, except as an adhoc excuse for being late for work on Monday, and it looks like there are many arguments against and hardly any for, but for now the practise continues like the revolution of the great globe itself.
