Colder but clearer and calmer Thursday expected

Take note – story published 1 year ago

After being battered by a two-day blizzard, Latvia should enjoy some relief Thursday with calmer but slightly colder conditions in place.

There may be early morning snow flurries but by mid-morning the weather will start to improve and skies should clear, allowing the sunshine to break through at last.

During the day, it will only snow a little, mostly in the south of the country. A light to moderate northwesterly wind will blow, in contrast to the raging blizzard of Wednesday. During the day the air temperatue will be in the range of -5 Celsius inland to +1 or +2 Celsius on the coast.
