Monday will be warm and sunny, and temperatures may climb as high as +29 Celsius in eastern Latgale region.
Tuesday will still be mostly sunny, although with some chance of rain showers, and temperatures across the country, with the exception of the coast, will be above +20 C. On Wednesday, cloud cover will increase, bringing more showers, especially in Zemgale and Latgale, where heavy rain is also possible. Temperatures will range between +17 c and + 22 C.
Starting Thursday, the weather will again become increasingly sunny and warmer. Next weekend should be rain-free with temperatures a very pleasant +20 C to + 25 C degrees. On Sunday in southern parts of the country this might even reach +27 C.
Southwesterly, and westerly winds will prevail throughout the week, though they will be mostly gentle, so that fog may sometimes linger and night-times and in the mornings.
