The strongest rainfall - which is continuing - is south of the Gulf of Rīga, including Jūrmala and Jelgava. A little less intense rain is being seen elsewhere, mostly in central regions. It's mostly cloudy, but less so in Kurzeme.
The air temperature is +7..+12 degrees, with +15 degrees at places on the coast.
The weather is set to become better from Wednesday with cold nights and sunny days, with the temperatures reaching +20 degrees in the latter half of the week.
