Thursday will pass without significant rainfall, but there will be mist at night and in the morning. On Friday, a small amount of rain and wet snow will reach Latvia, but on Saturday, the fall of rain and snow will be prolonged, continuing into Sunday.
The wind will still be slow on Thursday and intensify on Friday. Current forecasts show that on Saturday and Sunday, the wind gusts in the largest part of the country will be at least 15-20 meters per second, while in the west of Kurzeme and Vidzeme up to 22-27 meters per second.
The wind will cause some damage to tree branches or possibly power lines.
Air temperatures until Saturday will stay mostly within +1 C to +7 C, but it will get colder on Saturday evening. It is possible that by Sunday evening, all of Latvia will again be covered in snow.
