A strong snowfall in many parts of North Vidzeme has started during the night and is expected to continue during the day, according to forecasts by LSM's weatherman Toms Bricis.

In other regions it will also be snowing, but the sky will also clear from time to time and the sun will shine.

The maximum air temperature Wednesday will be between -2 to +3 degrees Celsius, in North Vidzeme down to -3  C to -6 C.

In Rīga, there will be some snow but at times the sky will also clear and sun will shine. Maximum air temperature will be +1 C to +2 C.
