Rain is in the forecast over Latvia each day, particularly Friday on Saturday. Fog is expected to set in at night and the morning.
Nighttime temperatures are to drop to +8..+13C early in the week, and as low as +5 on the night to Tuesday in the Vidzeme cultural region.
They are to increase by +2..+4C on the latter half of the week.
Daytime temperatures are to stay stable at about +18..+24C, however.
Meteorological fall starts when the average temperatures decrease to +15C. It usually happens around August 18-20 in Vidzeme and Alūksne, and in September in the coastal regions.
This summer has been unusually long, starting in May 7-9, or a month and a half earlier than usual.
