Summer will return to Latvia by end of week

This week the weather will become warmer in Latvia, and over the weekend temperatures can reach up to +25 C, according to forecasts by weatherman Toms Bricis.

Monday will be mild with rain in the afternoon and temperatures not exceeding +13 to +17 C. On Tuesday, air temperatures will already rise to the range between +15 C and +20 C, but from Wednesday to Sunday it will be around +18 C to +23 C in the afternoons, even up to +25 C in Kurzeme, Zemgale and around Rīga.

Over the course of the week, rain is likely locally, but most of the time it will be dry. A moderate southwest, west wind will blow.

There will be no more frost at night this week. Tuesday and Wednesday morning the temperatures will still slide below the +10 C mark, but after that, it will remain above +10 C.
