This summer, the likes of which are called "green winters" or the "winters in green" in Latvia, has been about a single degree colder than usually.
It's evident this week as well. Although the weekend will be a little bit warmer, reaching some +25 degrees Celsius on Saturday, the warmth will be short-lived as Sunday will be as cold as ever once again.
Despite the generally cold summer, heat records had been broken in early July, further making it evident how tricky the Latvian summer can be.
