The weather will be overcast, often raining. Maximum air temperatures will range between +1 C to +6 C.
Large puddles will become even larger and deeper, and places where there was a thick layer of snow may now be covered with a thick layer of exposed ice.
According to Latvian State Roads, on Thursday morning, driving is difficult on most main roads, and on regional roads across Latvia except around Kuldīga, Liepāja, Saldus, and Ventspils.
Particular caution must be observed on gravel roads. The so-called black ice, which is especially dangerous and invisible, can easily form in current conditions.
