In Ogresgals the layer of snow is at 23 cm and at Vičaki at 22.
On Monday morning, clouds from the Gulf of Riga carry intense snow to some places in Vidzeme. Both in Vidzeme and in Latgale LVĢMC has issued a yellow alert for heavy snowfall - the thickness of the snow layer will increase by 5-7 cm, the roads will be slippery and the visibility will deteriorate to 500-1000 meters.
