Warmer weather week ahead in Latvia

Take note – story published 3 years ago

This week should bring relatively warm weather, according to LSM's weatherman Toms Bricis.

The sky will be mostly overcast with a little snow on Monday, but it will rain on Wednesday and Friday. There should be no significant rainfall on other days but not much sun either.

South-southeast wind will blow until Tuesday, southeast for the rest of the week, which will mostly be slow, at times around 10 meters per second.

The air temperature will still be 0 to -4 degrees Celsius on Tuesday night, from -1 C in the east to +3 C or +4 C on the coast in the daytime.

In the following days of the week the temperature will rise further, reaching up to +7 C on the coast, and only at night will it fall below zero in Vidzeme and Latgale.

Motorists should take note that the roads might be slippery all week in Vidzeme and Latgale.
