While temperatures will not cause a mass exodus to the beaches, they are likely to constitute record highs for the time of year.
On Tuesday, our region will be visited by a warm front from the south, so the air temperature will rise. The warmest weather this week is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, when the temperature at night will mostly be in the range +3 C to + 8 C, but during the day it will rise to +7 to + 12 degrees, with places in Kurzeme possibly reaching +14 C.
The existing temperature records are +14.3 C on November 6 and +13 C on November 7.

The second half of the week will become slightly colder, particularly at night. Clear skies will see night-time temperatures hovering around freezing point, but during the days it will remain mild at +6C to + 11C degrees.
Winds will be gentle for most of the week, increasing the probability of fog forming overnight, but towards the weekend the wind will intensify, reaching 10-15 meters per second in gusts.
The weather will be mainly dry with little precipitation expected.
