Although local rainfall and storm clouds may gather somewhere over Latvia every day, they will affect small areas, with dry weather expected in most parts of the country from Tuesday.
In the first part of the week the prevailing winds will be slow northwesterlies and westerlies, but in the second half of the week winds will swing around from the northeast and east, but will remain slow.
In the afternoons the air temperature will mostly reach +22 Celsius to + 27 C, though on Wednesday and Thursdays in places the thermometer could get close to + 30 C.
Nights will be very mild with the temperature from +12 C to + 17 C.
Ultraviolet radiation levels are still high in Latvia, as is the risk of forest fire, especially in Kurzeme, so the public continues to be urged to take suitable precautions.
