Over the weekend, air temperatures will be mostly above zero, but frost will return again next week.
On Saturday and Sunday, the sky will be mostly overcast, with a lot of rain often expected, wet snow in the east. Air temperature in the daytime will be between +2 C to +8 C, at night -1 C to +3 C.
By Sunday evening, snow will have melted in most of the country, remaining in places only in Vidzeme, where this morning there is a layer of 20 centimeters. Water levels will rise rapidly in the rivers, in some places flooding is possible in Vidzeme and Latgale.
The sun will shine more frequently next week.
