Alt Rock Minifestival
On Friday, May 10, alternative rock bands TESA and ŽIDRŪNS will introduce you to the world of post-metal, post-punk, experimental rock, and indie rock.
The event has been titled a mini-festival, as two adjacent concert venues are combining their efforts. The concert venue ANGĀRS (Tallinas Street 10-3) will offer a street food kitchen, bar, recreation zone and DJ, while the adjacent venue "Tu jau zini kur" will host the concerts and a bar.

Alternative Music cycle "Ceļabiedri/Travel buddies"
At this point, a legend – the Latvian alternative music band "Baložu pilni pagalmi" is celebrating their 30th anniversary. The band, together with a few other acts, like Nielslens Lielsliens, Vija Moore, and Aija Alsiņa, will perform a grand concert at the Mežaparks Great Stage on May 11.
Entrance to the event starts at 18:00, while the opening acts begin at 19:00.

One Day at Home with us: The museum comes alive
On May 11, the Latvian Ethnographic Open-air Museum starts its 100th anniversary celebrations with a massive improvisation event bringing together around 850 amateur folk art collectives – music bands, theaters, dance groups, arts and craftspeople.
They will attempt to take you back 100 to 200 years and make you feel like you've come to visit their home – you'll experience traditional weddings, might be asked to help clean their house, smoke or catch some fish, help with pottery, and other chores of daily life.
Entrance to the museum starts at 11:00.
