Baltic Sea Docs film festival goes live

From September 1 to 6, the film screening of the annual Baltic Sea Docs Forum will takes online free of charge, Latvian Television reported September 1.

On September 1, Baltic Sea Docs film festival began at the cinema "K Suns". Another live screening will take place in the Spīķeri square on Saturday evening. But from September 1 to 6, all films are going online free at set times on the portal filmas.lv. The program and film annotations are also available on the portal.

At the Baltic Sea Docs Forum, filmmakers have the opportunity to present their future films to potential partners and industry professionals, as well as to participate in workshops and seminars led by international experts. This year, five film projects from Latvia have been chosen.

The Baltic Sea Docs Forum was founded in Denmark in 1997 and has been happening in Riga for 16 years. The Forum is organised by the National Film Center.
