"My Love Affair With Marriage" (Mans laulību projekts) by Signe Baumane, which has already succeeded in several international festivals, asks the eternal question – what is love, how to find it and how to keep it. The film tells the story of a young woman Zelma and her quest for love, involving mythical Sirens who teach her to seek perfect marriage, but the ideas inevitably crumble when Biology, with its hormone and neuron signals, influences her behavior and feelings by shaking the foundations of marriage.

The European Film Awards contenders were announced on October 19 in the categories of comedy, animated feature films, and short films. The Latvian director Signe Baumane's film "My Love Affair With Marriage" will fight for the title of the best European animated feature film this year.
