City Hall Square
During winter, Old Riga turns into one of the most magical places in the city. City Hall Square (Ratslaukums) will be where you and your friends will be greeted by a wide entertainment and musical program - the rock group "Dzelzs Vilks", Ralfs Eilands with accompanying musicians, the drum and bagpipe group "Auļi", as well as the alternative rock group "Sudden Lights" will play. When the clock strikes midnight, all those gathered will be delighted with a light show with pyrotechnic elements to usher in the New Year!

Square near Kronvalda park
A special New Year's celebration program for young people and those who are young at heart will be prepared in the square near Kronvalda Park. Humor rock group "Primais kurss", rapper Ansis with accompanying musicians, the group "Carnival Youth", as well as rap collective "Kreisais krasts" will perform. At the midnight you will have an opportunity to enjoy a light show with pyrotechnic elements as a symbol of the end of 2022 and the start of 2023.

Riga Christmas market
Riga Christmas market continues into the New Year, complete with delicious food, mulled wine, gingerbread and roasted chestnuts. Entertainent will be laid on by the Ivo Grīsniņš Grīslis band, DJ Toms Grēviņš, and what should be a jolly and jovial ambiance.
