Take note – story published 2 years ago

This weekend in Latvia, in contrast to the previous one, is short - due to a transferred workday from Monday May 3 to Saturday, May 8. Regardless, here are some tips to enjoy your free time. By the way, Sunday is Mother's day - don't forget!

Osokins - for Beethoven

On Friday, May 7 at 19:00, Latgale embassy GORS will livestream pianist Andrejs Osokins' solo-program "Osokins - for Beethoven".

The program, along with Beethoven's “Sonata quasi una fantasia” or the Moonlight sonata, will include Schuman and Chopin's miniatures and Rakhmaninov's prelude.

You can watch the event live on GORS website.

Vērmanes Garden spring fair

Vērmanes Garden in the center of Rīga is once again home to a spring fair. On May 7 from 12:00 to 17:00 and May 8 and 9 from 10:00 to 17:00 the fair will be open for customers while complying with all epidemiological safety measures.
