This year, a special emphasis will be placed on Nordic poetry at the festival, while Latvia will be represented at the festival by three poets - Artis Ostups, Anna Auziņa and Sergejs Timofejevs.
The festival will start on May 10 with a poetry walk by the River Lielupe, followed by free public poetry readings on May 11 and 12 in the Great Hall of Jelgava Culture House. A round table discussion of all festival participants is expected on May 11, while on May 12 the authors will visit Jelgava secondary schools.
The "Page Break" festival will end on May 13 with a special poetry concert, in which all the festival guests will participate, reading their works accompanied by modern jazz music improvisations.
An anthology of the festival's poetry will be published with the works of all authors and their translations into Latvian. This edition will be available free of charge to all interested parties at the festival events.
The theme of this year's festival will be "biophilia" – the love of living things.
