More opportunities offered to publish Latvian books abroad

The Latvian Literature platform has announced this year’s second open call for foreign publishers and translators offering an opportunity to receive a grant for translating and publishing Latvian literature abroad.

The deadline for applications is May 27th, 2024. Only online submissions are accepted. The guidelines of the grant program and the project application procedure is HERE.

There are two different sections: “FOR PUBLISHERS” and “FOR TRANSLATORS”. The submitted projects will be evaluated by a jury of experts and the projects receiving financial support will be announced by June 14th, 2024.

The grant program is financed by The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia. Full details are availlable at the Latvian Literature platform.
