Tallinn Music Week to feature Latvian performers in April

The international festival of new music, Tallinn Music Week, returns for the 16th time this spring. It will take place in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, from 3 to 7 April and will bring together 165 artists from 35 countries.

Latvia will be represented by six musicians and several organizations selected as curators and speakers, including Erica Synth, NERDS, Cindy&Kate and Zvaigznājs.

The six musical acts are Lunt, Sofija Zaiceva, Sudden Lights, Sarma Gabrena, Waterflower and Oranžās brīvdienas.

The festival will take place at various venues in Tallinn and will feature musicians not only from all over Europe, but also from North and South America, East Asia, Africa and Australia. Most of the artists will represent the Baltic Sea and Nordic regions. 70 of them will be local (Estonian) musicians, 20 will represent Finland, and 7 will come from Lithuania and Poland.
