The singer voices are recorded in various vocal techniques, each listed as a unique entry in the Latvian Radio chorus voice library. The voice will be available in it as a sound bank, which will create new ways for music production. For example, singer Kārlis Rūtentāls recorded a special voice technique - overtones - in the St. John's church in Rīga.
Different locations are also used for recording.
The project is special in that it preserves the excellent voices of the singers. Conductor Sigvards Kļava is pleased to be able to use this time for the choir to create the project, as concerts are not possible at this time.
A great variety of noises and sounds have been recorded in the world, but a choir voice sound library has yet to come. In the future, the voice library will open up the possibility for composers and project leaders to create new pieces or soundtracks for films and other events.
