The Winter Paralympic Games will be held in Beijing on March 4-13. There will be 600 athletes from 50 countries of the world participating, so far the largest number of participants in the winter paralympic games.
Latvia will be represented in the winter paralympic games for a second time after a 28-year break. In 1994 games in Lillehammer, Latvia was represented by skier Aldis Supulnieks.
This year, Latvia will be represented by a team of wheelchair curling consisting of eight people.
