At the beginning of the new theatrical season, DDT invited viewers to attend “Dramatic Election Evenings”, in which playwrights are asked to create performances on the three topics that are most common in party pre-election campaigns – sustainability, education and external security. The viewer will be able to choose his favorites. The “dramatic election evenings” will take place on August 16, 23, and 30 at 19:00.
On August 21, at 17:00 and 21:00, the audience will be able to attend a poetry-performance 'Saule riet austrumos' [The sun sets on the east] with the poetry of acclaimed Austra Skujiņa.
On August 28, 19:00, an open-air show Garden of Eden will take place at the Botanical Garden.
All events included in the August repertoire are free of charge, but it is necessary to claim invitations on Biļešu paradīze.
The project is organized by Dirty Deal Teatro and financed by the Riga City Council in Rīga's summer cultural program.
