Real estate developer PICHE is behind what it has invested 2-million-euros in land that will play host to "the most energy efficient industrial park in Latvia."
Dubbed 'Green Park' it is claimed that it will be the use of energy efficient construction methods will minimize the cost for tenants taking up warehousing and industrial space by using current-generation programmable LED lighting, wind turbines, solar panels, heating and cooling systems.
The purchased land area is 100 000 square meters to include new warehouse, production and office space.
The developers told LSM the third quarter of 2020 is the planned opening date.
