The owner of print-products manufacturer "Prinful Latvia" is building a production and supply center in the Canadian city of Mississauga, near Toronto, the company reported on May 26.

This is the first Printful production center in Canada and the seventh in the world.  It will work alongside production facilities in the US, Mexico, Spain and Latvia. The initial investment is EUR 1.8 million.

"Printful already has a large customer base in Canada, so creating a production and supply center is a logical step to strengthen positions in that market. We see the potential to become one of the industry's leaders in Canada," said Printful CEO and co-founder Dāvis Siksāns.

The company said Canada is the second largest Printful market after the US, so the creation of the center has a key role in better customer service as it reduces delivery time. In establishing the center, Printful works closely with Invest in Canada, business advisers from Toronto Global and the Latvian Embassy in Canada.

Printful is a print, sewing and delivery outsourcing company that gives Internet store owners the opportunity to offer customers more than 230 different products without investing in the production facilities themselves. The central office is based in Riga, Latvia. Printful currently employs more than 800 people all over the world.
