Housing prices in Latvia up by 14% in Q3

Provisional data of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB)* show that, compared to the 3rd quarter of 2021, in the 3rd quarter of 2022 prices of dwellings rose by 13.7 %. 

Prices of new dwellings increased by 12.5 %, but of existing dwellings – by 14.0 %.

Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2022, in the 3rd quarter of 2022 prices of dwellings went up by 1.3 %. Prices of new dwellings increased by 0.1 %, and prices of existing dwellings – by 1.5 %.

Compared to 2015, in the 3rd quarter of 2022 prices of dwellings were 87.9 % higher. Prices of new dwellings increased by 66.7 %, but of existing dwellings – by 94.0 %.
