29% of employees who do not manage a company or institution themselves say their relationship is not good, but the overwhelming majority evaluate it positively, according to a survey conducted by the research center "Norstat" in cooperation with LSM.lv.
Most of the respondents evaluate their relationship with their current boss positively. Of all the respondents, 18% of the respondents described their relationship with their boss as very good, 23% indicated that it was good, and 12% said it was fairly good, giving 53% in the 'good' camp.
In contrast only 5% said their relationship was very bad, bad or fairly bad.
Rounding out the figures among the 1,006 people surveyed, 18% said they were neutral on their relationship with their boss, 21% said they were not currently working and 4% said they were the boss themselves.
The most positive assessments of the relationship with the boss was given by those living in Pierīga (the fairly affluent area around the capital city), as well as those surveyed aged between 30 and 39.
The survey took place from April 23 to May 1, interviewing 1,006 respondents. The data are representative of the population of Latvia aged 18 to 74, who use the Internet at least once a week.
