The app provides one-stop access to tourist information on attractions and services in the municipalities of Mārupe, Olaine, Ķekava, Ādaži, Ropaži, Salaspils, and Ogre.
It brings together information on places of interest, active leisure offers, natural values, educational excursions, places to eat, accommodation, and venues for events, the association said.
You can take inspiration from the routes already on offer, or create your own itinerary by marking your favorite places. The app will put a special emphasis on event tourism, as the biggest cultural, sporting, and tourism events in Pierīga will finally be available in one place, the developers stressed.
The mobile app is available for free on Google Play and App Store in Latvian and English.
