Two Rīga flights canceled due to fire at London Luton

Luton Airport in London has been closed until at least Wednesday afternoon after a car park building partially collapsed due to a fire. Two flights to Rīga and from Rīga have been canceled as a result.

Flights at Luton Airport have been cancelled since Tuesday evening. Airport officials estimate that flights will resume Wednesday afternoon.

The information available on the website of Riga Airport shows that the Wizz Air flight from London to Riga scheduled for Wednesday with the time of arrival at 10:55 and a flight to Luton scheduled to depart at 11:30 have been canceled.

Firefighters are continuing work to extinguish the fire, which started Tuesday night and may have destroyed hundreds of cars.
