The price of the special Song and Dance Festival ticket is 10 euros and it can be used repeatedly between July 1 and 10. The ticket can be purchased in an e-ticket specially designed for the holiday, as well as in the usual formats of e-tickets – the Rīga residents' card, the personalized e-ticket, the blue non-personalized e-ticket, as well as the yellow e-ticket, representatives of the Rīgas Satiksme (RS) municipal transport company said.
"The song festival ticket is a convenient way to go to the festival venues and back, enjoying the festive atmosphere and reducing the intensity of traffic in the city. We invite visitors to the festival to use public transport, so anyone interested can buy a public transport ticket specifically for the festival," said Džineta Innusa, chairwoman of the RS board.
In the coming days, the ticket for the Song and Dance Festival will also be available for purchase via mobile apps.
An e-ticket with a design created especially for the XXVII General Latvian Song and XVII Dance Festival is available at sales points. An e-ticket with this design can be purchased at all "Rīgas satiksme" customer centers, as well as at individual sales points in the center of R–ga. With the holiday e-ticket design, you can buy both the Song and Dance Festival travel ticket and other public transport tickets - 90-minute ticket, 24-hour, 3-day and 5-day tickets, as well as a monthly ticket.
