Gasoline price in Latvia down to pre-war level on Monday

In Latvia, the price of band 95 gasoline has decreased to the level seen before Russia's invasion of Ukraine last February, according to LETA's information March 27.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel on Monday is at its lowest within the past year, but still slightly above what it was before the war.

On Monday, the price of brand 95 gasoline at “Neste Latvija” automatic fueling stations is €1.537 per liter, “Circle K” full service fueling stations - €1.554 per liter, “Kool” fueling stations - €1.607 per liter, while “Virši-A” – €1.637 per liter.

On February 23 last year, the day before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the price of brand 95 petrol was a maximum of EUR 1.614 per liter.

The price of diesel fuel in the “Neste Latvija” automatic fueling stations on Monday is €1.517 per liter, “Circle K” full-service stations - €1.534 per liter, “Kool” - €1.577 per liter, and “Virši-A” – €1.607 per liter.
