Latvian Postal service's management changes

Mārcis Vilcāns, the former Chairman of the Latvian Postal Service (Latvijas pasts, LP) Board, has left his job at the company, and in the future LP will be managed by the former head of Omniva Latvia, Beāte Krauze-Čebotare, LP said in a statement on August 28.

Mārcis Vilcāns, former Chairman of the Board of Governors, and board member Gusts Muzikants left the job under the management of the Latvian Post. They will be replaced by Beāte Krauze-Čebotare and Jānis Kūliņš.

Krauze-Čebotare was head and board member of Omniva Latvia delivery service company for six years, with previous experience at Swedbank in managerial roles.

“Latvijas Pasts, which provides vital functions for Latvia, is a company with great potential for development. I see that expanding and upgrading its portfolio of services and adapting it to current customer needs, as well as strengthening positions in both Baltic and international markets, it can multiply its value many times,” said Beāte Krauze-Čebotare.

Together with Krauze-Čebotare and Kūliņš, the Board members Andris Puriņš and Kristaps Krūmiņš will continue their work on the Latvian Post management team.
