Positivus festival will bring traffic restrictions around Lucavsala

During the weekend, July 15-17, the Positivus festival will take place in Riga, Lucavsala, and a number of traffic restrictions will be introduced.

From Tuesday, July 12, at 9:00 until Tuesday, July 19, at 17:00 the access of vehicles to the dock of the Lucavsala boats will be closed.

From Thursday, July 14, at 17:00 until Sunday, 17 July, at 3:00 vehicle traffic (excluding responder vehicles and vehicles with special permits issued by Positivus Ltd) will be closed on Lucavsalas Street behind the shopping center K Senukai and opposite it.

Also from July 14 at 17:00 to 17 July 3:00 vehicles will be banned from stopping and parking in the public parking lot of Lucavsala and in the street section of Lucavsala from the roundabout of Mūkusalas Street to Laivu Street.

The State Police, in cooperation with the Riga Municipal Police, will limit, regulate or close vehicle traffic, except public transport, at the site of the event and in adjacent streets.

Limits could be temporarily be placed on the Salu Bridge, Mūkusalas roundabout and exit ramps to the roundabout.
