The postal service indicated that snowfall and uncleared roads made it difficult or impossible to supply consignments throughout the country on Monday – driving conditions and visibility are poor, snowdrifts and ice are forming on the roads, but roads have not yet been cleaned.
In several rural areas, the postal service employees are not going to work due to snow.
In view of this situation, shipment deliveries will take longer on Monday for Latvian Post employees, so customers are asked to be understanding.
