Rail Baltica construction at Rīga Central Station to begin in November

On November 17, construction work on Rail Baltica's central network in Rīga is scheduled to start, project implementer Eiropas Dzelzceļa Līnijas said October 19.

This step includes the construction of the Central Railway Station complex and the adjacent infrastructure. Works in the center are planned in successive stages. During construction, the train station and the terminal will continue to operate.

Starting October 28, Rīga residents and guests will be able to find information about changes to traffic and pedestrian movement organization on Eiropas Dzelzceļa Līnijas website interactive map.

This autumn, the first preparations will take place along the railway line between Maskavas and Lāčplēša Street. All road users and pedestrians will be provided with a continuous and secure traffic organization.
