On April 6, the Estonian ferry operator “Tallink” plans to re-establish the regular transport of Isabelle ferry between Rīga and Stockholm, according to information on the company's website, Latvian Television reported February 18.

Tallink also restores the passenger ferry movement on the route Tallinn-Stockholm on Friday, as reported by the Estonian public media. This became possible after Sweden lifted Covid-19 restrictions.

The ship Isabelle, which ceased operations on the Tallink's scheduled route of Riga – Stockholm on March 16, 2020, will resume passenger and freight shipping maritime traffic between the capitals of Latvia and Sweden every other day and will make its first voyage from Riga to Stockholm on April 6, 2022.

Meanwhile, Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on travelers to Sweden to follow the instructions of the responsible authorities on preventive measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 infection.
