LSM marks the return of its English-subtitled series of documentary films entitled Latvian Code and selected in an annual contest held by Latvian Public Television (LTV). This time it’s Daina Zviedre’s lyrical rendition of a moment in a lifetime as symbolized by the story about a train.
The Train Arrives at 20:14. Documentary, Latvia, 2014
Director: Daina Zviedre
This is a story about a train, reflecting the course of life, in which each one of us has at some time experienced loneliness, as well as friendship and love; and we are all aware that the time will come when our train reaches the end of the line. The film is a poetic interpretation of life passing by in a single moment.
