Latvia's President Raimonds Vējonis participated in a discussion at a meeting of the World Economic Forum in Tianjin, China, on September 19.

The panel titled "Strengthening Innovation across Belt and Road" examined China's much-publicised "Belt and Road initiative" which aims to strengthen connectivity among member countries and create fast and reliable supply and distribution routes for the massive Chinese economy.
