Russian armed frigate back near Baltic waters

Russian Armed Forces corvette Boyky, a military ship that has been spotted before in Baltic waters this year, was again sighted and monitored by the National Armed Forces (NBS) Monday.

In a tweet released Monday afternoon, the NBS reported watching the Boyky just 14.4 nautical miles from Latvia's Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) territorial waters.

The Boyky has appeared several times near Latvia's sea-bound borders this year, being previously cited in an NBS tweet June 21.
