“Police arrived and asked where the sorting point was. And it is located in the leased landfill area, the landfill is leased by Eco Baltia Vide. As far as I could hear, the body of a child was found in this trash stream in cardboard packaging. Liepāja RAS has been in operation for 24 years and here in landfill we have been accepting waste since 2004. And this is the first time this situation has happened,” Normunds Niedols, a Board Member of the landfill management company Liepāja RAS, told
