According to the information available to the LTV, the KNAB has initiated criminal proceedings regarding alleged abuse of the position of the service and fraud related to the greening activities organized by the Municipal Property Management Division and the Environmental Management Division in the municipality.
According to the press secretary of the council chairwoman Līga Sausiņa, KNAB had been visiting the City Council, but Sausiņa did not reveal exactly what procedural activities had been carried out.
