As in previous years, there will be a day of side events October 17 followed by the main discussion days on October 18-19. However, it will be preceded by one day of the Future Leaders Forum on October 16 continuing into the October 17 and based on previous years, the younger crowd contributes discussions that are usually at least as interesting as the older crowd that follows them – and frequently more so.
According to the conference organizers (The Latvian Transatlantic Organization LATO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense), the goal of the 2024 event is to "Address current foreign policy and security issues by developing meaningful and long-term discussions among global leaders and decision-makers."
