NATO STRATCOMCOE livestream event talks about China

The Rīga-based NATO Strategic Communications Center of Excellence (NATO STRATCOMCOE) is hosting another in its series of online discussions June 10, with China the topic under examination.

Titled "China's Influence in the Global Information Environment" the talk will feature Mareike Ohlberg (Senior Fellow, The German Marshall Fund of the United States Asia Program), Frederick Fooy (Senior Analyst, Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency) and Linda Curika (Communications Officer, NATO STRATCOMCOE).

"The Chinese government is taking an assertive approach to shaping global narratives about China and about China’s developmental model. At this event, we will explore China’s strategy to expand its influence over information," says advance publicity material.
