UK expert to lecture on sanctions at SSE Riga

A public lecture on a hot topic by Tom Keatinge, titled "Everyone is Asking - Do Sanctions Actually Work?" will take place March 18 at the Stockholm School of Economics in Rīga.

The lecture will tae place at 17:15 in the Soros Auditorium at SSE. Tom Keatinge is Director of the Centre for Financial Crime & Security Studies (CFCS) at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) in the United Kingdom.

He also currently serves as a specialist adviser on illicit finance to the UK Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee.

With a Master’s in Intelligence and International Security from King’s College London, Keatinge's research explores finance-security dynamics, covering state threats, sanctions, terrorist financing, proliferation financing, organized crime, and innovative anti-financial crime strategies.
